7 Amazingly Healthy Benefits of Turmeric


Turmeric is the spice that gives curry it’s beautiful yellow color.  Turmeric is a flowering plant, Curcuma longa of the ginger family.  It has been used as a spice and has medicinal properties.  This “queen of spices” is something you would want to add to your journey of taking care of your “temple.”  Be sure to give the turmeric “golden” milk recipe (below) a try and see how you like it.  Ready??? My recipe for turmeric “golden” milk have just 3 ingredients:  almond milk, turmeric, and honey.  I am a therapist not a cook so my recipes is simple and I just like to highlight the experience.  So here it is:

Heat 1 cup of almond milk, add 1 tablespoon of turmeric, and 1 teaspoon of honey.  Now it is time to get cozy and mindfully enjoy this healthy drink.
